Shawn Daugherty

Shawn is the current President/ CEO of Citizens National, effective March 1, 2024. He has been with Citizens National Bank for over ten years, where he previously assumed the role of Senior Lender. Shawn has over thirty years of banking experience and is passionate about serving his community. He became a Director of Citizens National Bank in January 2024.

Donald E. Bloomer

Don retired as President and CEO of Citizens National Bank on February 29, 2024. He worked at Citizens National Bank since 1976, and served as President and CEO from January 1, 2008 until his retirement. He is President of Citizens Bancshares, Inc.

Harris Rakestraw, III

Happy retired as President of Super Service where he served since opening the business in 1980. He became a board member at the bank in 1989 and is Chairman of the Board and Chairman of Citizens Bancshares, Inc.

Ron Absher

Ron is the former President and Owner of B&B Resources, Inc. He became a Director of Citizens National Bank in February 2008.

Robert S. Harris

Bob is retired from Harris & Associates, PSC. He became a Director of Citizen National Bank in August 2001.

Steve Merrick

Steve is President of Merrick Hardwoods, Inc., President of Kentucky Hardwood Lumber Co. Inc., and President of Somerset Biofuel, Inc. Steve joined the Board of Directors in February 2008 and is Vice-Chairman of the Board and Vice-Chairman of Citizens Bancshares, Inc.

Larry VanHook

Larry is a retired Agency Manager of Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. He became a Director of Citizens National Bank in February 2008 and is Vice President of Citizens Bancshares, Inc.

Congressman Hal Rogers, Director Emeritus

Congressman Rogers has been serving Kentucky's Fifth Congressional District since 1981, having been elected for 23 consecutive terms by the people in Eastern and Southern Kentucky. He became a Director of Citizens National Bank in 1970 and became Director Emeritus in 1991.
